Inspiration can strike in the least likeliest places. On an icy January day, the aroma of freshly baked cookies filling my kitchen, I stood rolling out dough to form a new batch of cookies. About to lift my star-shaped cookie cutter, I caught sight of my toddler's new shoe underneath the table. Annoyed for a moment that he had so carelessly strewn it, I found that I was suddenly mesmerized by its size and shape. Oh, the charming innocence of it!
It was then that inspiration struck. Why not make a cookie replica of my son's shoe? Quickly gathering additional ingredients for the icing, I commenced to cut and shape and cream my newly-formed shoe-cookies.
That was the moment Custom Cookies was born.
From that inspiring beginning, Custom Cookies has grown way beyond its humble origins. Instead of my little kitchen, we now work out of a large, immaculate baking facility with our increasingly professional staff. Our decorated and printed cookies in every conceivable shape and design have earned praise and admiration from even the most persnickety customers.
Despite our growth and success, the quality of our creations has remained unchanged. Our talented artisans still labor over each cookie, icing and decorating each one individually.
And we continue to grow, grow, grow.
